- Annaya's story is one of triumph over struggle. Having defeated life threatening breast cancer, she has harnessed the courage, strength and determination needed to overcome any obstacle. Sharing her stories thru poetry, writing and speaking, Annaya shines as a beacon of HOPE for millions of people around the world. She is an amazing leader, teacher and friend and no where can you find a more humble and beautiful soul!
That's what my producers think of me~But here's what I think of myself My plight has been difficult, challenging and seemingly impossible at times. I've cried and many nights, I just wanted to crawl in a hole and die! Yet, still I kept holding on! Thru heart break and disappointment, financial despair, physical abuse; I kept holding on to that 'rope of hope'. Even though I wanted to let go (bcuz the blisters hurt so bad---ouch) But I didn't and now I STILL STAND! Still moving forward! Still striving! When you listen to my poems (all topics from pain, love, hate and lust to the unchanging power of God) just know that every one was inspired by something happening in my life at that time. I still believe in true LOVE and that thru GOD all things are possible! My mission and purpose in life is to give HOPE to a hopeless world!
